Peter Semneby: the EU is willing to help normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey.

On 27 October, President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met in Stepanakert with personal representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.

The RA NSC Secretary and European diplomats attached importance to further cooperation between Armenia and European structures.

Today, members of the Armenian National Assembly attended a ceremony to commemorate the victims of October 27, 1999 terrorist act.

"Our armament is replenished annually but combativity is the most important factor," the RA President said.

"The Georgian-Russian conflict and the subsequent recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia's independence by Russia arouse concerns," the Turkish official said.

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Educational and Research Affairs Manuchehr Mohammadi expressed Iran's protest to the extension of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to the East.

Armenia never requested any country for mediation in the Karabakh issue, Serzh Sargsyan said.

The goal of the project is to develop economic, scientific, technical, cultural and political cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia.
