Those entrepreneurs who took advantage of the situation in the country will be punished, the PanARMENIAN.Net reporter was informed at the press-service of SCPEC. The monitoring results of the working group founded by the decree of the Commission head, show that things are back to normal in the market, no hustle and bustle any longer. No change in prices has been observed in the supermarkets or other trading centres monitored. In certain cases the prices have risen on four or five staple goods only.As the press-service informed the stabilization of exchange ratesis obvious.Also, the issues have been discussed with the country's major importers. They expressed their readiness to facilitate the stabilization process in the product market. An SCPEC meeting is to be held on Monday. Along with other issues the Commission will discuss the issue regarding the current situation in Armenia's product market. If need be, based on the material prepared, those enterprises that increased the prices with no grounds, will be called to account, as this increase is not stipulated by economic factors. There is also information about artificial shortage of goods. It is worth reminding that SCPEC had warned the entrepreneurs to keep off ungrounded price increase and not to abuse the dominating situation or the anti-competitive agreements.
