RA Deputy Prime Minister receives journalists from UAE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan received a group of journalists from the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry’s press service reported.

Answering numerous questions, mostly about bilateral relations, Mr. Gevorgyan said that trade relations are developing and stressed the importance of attracting UAE investments in Armenian economy.

He also referred to long-term cooperation, pointing out to the potential in energy, agriculture, construction materials and tourism. As to collaboration in culture, science and education fields, Mr. Gevorgyan noted that this year 10 Armenian students will take refresher courses in Abu Dhabi High Technology College.

He noted that formation of Armenia-UAE intergovernmental committee could boost trade and economic relations. Direct synergy between business structures can be another platform for expanding the relations, according to him.

Mr. Gevorgyan attached importance to the role of mass media and expressed hope that journalists will promote development of the mutual relations through their activities.
