Armenian grand master Vladimir Akopian also scored 8 points but ranked 12th, thus qualifying for the next World Cup. Gabriel Sargissian ranked 31st, Hrant Melkumyan is 40th, Tigran L. Petrosian is 52nd, Zaven Andriasian is 62nd, Robert Hovhannisyan is 74th and Arman Pashikian is 94th. Sergei Movsesian and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan are placed 113rd and 95th respectively. Hovhannes Gabuzyan comes 156th, fulfilling an International Master norm.
