Two of them - Melik Raisian and Van Bayburdian - were elected by the proportional list of National Movement - Democrats ruling bloc. Other three, namely Henzel Mkoyan, Hamlet Movsissian and Hayk Miltonian were elected in their one-mandate constituencies in Samtskhe-Javakhetia. Meanwhile only three deputies of Azeri origin will be presented in the new Georgian parliament (there were 5 of them in the former one).
