POSSIBILITY OF AGREEMENT ON FREE TRADE BETWEEN ARMENIA AND EU DISCUSSED IN BRUSSELS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Trade and Economic Development Karen Chshmaritian, Director General of the EU Commission for Trade Issues P. Karl and head of the European Commission G. Mingarel discussed the other day the issues connected with the concluding of the agreement on free trade between Armenia and the EU. The problems referring to the growth of commodity circulation between Armenia and the EU as well as the issues connected with the possible preferential terms for the export of Armenian goods to the EU states have been also discussed. The Armenian minister addressed the Antwerp Club of Jewelers and reported on the favorable conditions that have been created in Armenia for the development of the field. According to the press service of the RA MFA, representatives of a number of leading companies such as Gembel, Rosy Blue and Arjav took part in the meeting.
