ALIYEV REFUSED FROM AZERI CITIZENSHIP

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Chairman of the Nakhichevan branch of National Front of Azerbaijan party Hasan Aliyev has sent an address to diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Azerbaijan, local and foreign media, as well as international human rights organizations, stating he refuses from Azeri citizenship. As reported by Zerkalo Baku newspaper, he motivates his decision with activists of opposition parties being persecuted in the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic. Besides, H. Aliyev points out the pressure the authorities put upon his relatives.
