Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan trains serviced 7.9 thous. passengers in Jan-May

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the recent statistics, in January - May 2012 Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan trains transported 7.9 thousand passengers, which is 1,3 % more than in five months last year.

Moreover, only in May 2012 the volume of international passenger traffic grew by 7.1%.

In January - May 2012 South Caucasus Railway (SCR) serviced 189.0 thousand passengers. Only in May, 44.5 thousand people used SCR services, which is 1.8% higher than in May 2011.

SCR CJSC adheres to its policy of gradually improving the quality of passenger service, the level of comfort in trains of local and international communication. Accordingly, the railway upgrades the rolling stock, the list of services expands, train speed increases, SCR press service reported.
