As Gagik Minasyan told a press conference, Armenia will ratify the agreement on joining free trade zone with CIS during the fall parliamentary session. “Document on Armenia’s joining the free trade agreement with the EU will enable Armenian entrepreneurs to present own products in foreign markets without any obstacles,” the MP said. Dwelling on Armenia’s joining the Eurasian community, Mr. Minasyan noted absence of a common border with the union’s member-states and the mechanisms to facilitate Armenia’s integration process among the main problems. “Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh currently represent a single country with common economy due to absence of a customs border. Moreover, the countries willing to join the Eurasian community after 2015 are already taking efforts in establishment of a single customs territory,” he said.
