Areximbank-Gazprombank Group’s head office building opened in YerevanAugust 31, 2012 - 14:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 31, Yerevan hosted the official opening ceremony of the head office of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group, with representatives of Russia’s Gazprombank, Chairman of the Central Bank Arthur Javadyan and heads of partner-banks present. “Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is a major player in the financial market with credit portfolio of over AMD 90 bln, AMD 116 bln. assets and client base of 85 thous.,” Armen Khandkaryan, director general of the bank said, adding that Areximbank-Gazprombank Group implements joint projects with the Yerevan Municipality. The opening of the head office, located in Yerevan’s Northern Avenue, marks the 14th anniversary of the bank’s activity. “The opening of the new building will foster the activity with private and corporate clients,” the banker said. For his part, Nikolay G. Korenev, Deputy Chairmаn of Gazprombank Management Board, hailed the dynamic developemtn of the bank and its role in financing Armenia’s strategic industries. Gazprombank has invested USD185 mln. in Armenian economy, USD 100 mln.- to the development of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group, and USD 85 mln. – to ArmRosGazprom.
