People’s Party to leave ANC, paper says

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hraparak daily, the patience of the People’s Party of Armenia leader has been wearing thin over current situation in Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc.

According to the daily, rumors of a possible transformation of ANC into a unified party further exasperated Stepan Demirchyan.

“In the days to come, the People’s Party will convene a political council meeting to discuss reasonability behind the party’s ANC membership. Most probably, a resolution will be taken for the party to leave the Congress,” the daily said.
