BUILDING KARS-AKHALKALAKI-TBILISI RAILWAY GEORGIA'S INTERNAL AFFAIR

PanARMENIAN.Net - The building of Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi railway is Georgia's internal affair, Armenian PM Andranik Margaryan stated in Tbilisi, reported the Press Service of the Government of Armenia. In his words, Armenia can only express its opinion, however it cannot interfere directly. «in the course of our previous visits representatives of the Georgian Government noted they will assist us in the launching of Kars-Gyumri-Tbilisi railway. It matters for Georgia for the territory to be linked with Turkey. It is natural that launching the existing is cheaper and more profitable than investing large sums to build a new line,» Andranik Margaryan stated. In his words, it is not so much Georgia's problem, as that of the Armenian Government - to open the Kars-Gyumri-Tbilisi line owing to international contribution.
