ARKADY GHUKASIAN: KARABAKH IS STEADY

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The Nagorno Karabakh Republic has formed. We managed to maintain our independence in the blockade and war imposed by Azerbaijan. But we won because we defended our homeland," NKR President Arkady Ghukasian told journalists today. At the same time he noted that Karabakh will succeed in establishing friendly relations with the neighbors. "We are building a democratic state and are advancing. There is still much to be done but Nagorno Karabakh is steady and has future," he said. When commenting on Azerbaijan's appeal to the people of Nagorno Karabakh to participate in the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan the NKR President said, "I am glad that sense of humor is developing in Azerbaijan," IA Regnum reports.
