CEC counts votes at 159 polling stations, Sarsgyan leads

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Central Election Commission (CEC) has finalized the counting of votes from 159 polling stations.

As of 1 am, the chairman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan garnered 60 968 (64,65%) votes; Heritage party chairman Raffi Hovannisian got 29 393 (31,17%) votes; former foreign minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan received 187 (0,20%) votes; former prime minister Hrant Bagratyan - 1727 (1,83%) votes; National Self-Determination Union party head Paruyr Hayrikyan - 996 (1,06%) votes; Radio Hay director Andrias Ghukasyan 448 (0,48%) votes; literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan – 684 (0,62%) votes.
