Aliyev: Karabakh Talks will Continue until All Opportunities Exhausted

PanARMENIAN.Net - «Absence of progress at the Karabakh talks does not depreciate the diplomatic victory.» Azeri President Ilham Aliyev assessed the talks over settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict this way. «Today we can speak of certain diplomatic progress in the process, as certain positive changes have taken place in the positions of international organizations. However, if there are no outcomes, there is no sense in all those victories,» the Azeri President underscored. The talks will continue until the potential of the negotiation process is exhausted, Aliyev remarked. «However our patience is not unlimited. How long will the situation remain the way it is?!» he stated. «I am absolutely sure that if we want to return our lands based on fair peace, we should pay much attention to army building,» the Azeri leader said. It should be noted that the country budget made $170 million in 2004, while it increased up to $600 million in 2006.
