3,4%  inflation rate recorded in Armenia’s consumer market in March

PanARMENIAN.Net - 3,4% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in March 2013 compared to the same period of 2012.

During the reported period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by 3,4%; non-foods’ prices increased by 5,5%, with 2,3% growth in tariffs for services posted.

0,4% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in March 2013 as compared with February, which is basically conditioned by 0,4% and 0,8% growth in prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) and non-foods respectively. 0,2%.growth was also observed in tariffs for services during the reporting period.

Consumer prices increased by 0,4-0,8% in March compared to February in 6 Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was registered in Dilijan.

0,7% increase was recorded in consumer prices in Yerevan.
