Kislovodsk Marks 1600th Anniversary of Armenian ScriptNovember 15, 2005 - 14:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A ceremony marking the 1600th anniversary of the Armenian script was held in Kislovodsk (Stavropol region), reported the Yerkramas newspaper of Armenians of Russia. Some one hundred citizens and guests from Stavropol region joined the celebration organized by city Armenian community Krunk. A prayer of Kislovodsk Armenian Church senior priest Ter Sargis opened the event. Leader of the city and a number of ethnic communities of Kislovodsk were present at the event. Kislovodsk Mayor Sergey Demidenko congratulated those gathered on the holiday.
