President signs spring draft, demobilization decree

PanARMENIAN.Net - President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on the 2013 spring draft and demobilization.

According to the decree, male citizens aged 18 who’re eligible for compulsory military and alternative service will be drafted in May-July 2013, as well as those included in the lists certified by the Education Ministry as applicants who participated in university entry exams and haven’t presented deferral documents before July 15, 2013.

Also, the decree stipulates for demobilization of the servicemen who have completed their military service in May-June, 2013.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia was instructed to pass a resolution envisaging implementation of the decree above within 2 weeks.
