Constitutional Referendum: Opposition Representatives Do Not Serve on Electoral Committees

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of Justice opposition bloc and National Unity Party are not taking part in the work of the electoral committees and are boycotting the constitutional referendum, Secretary of Justice bloc Victor Dallakyan stated at a news conference today. In his words, the participation in the work of the committees is voluntary and members can refuse from it.



For his part representative of Justice bloc in the Central Electoral Commission Felix Khachatryan stated that the opposition representatives, members of the committees are persecuted. "They receive summons. The deeds of the prosecutor office members conflict with the law," he stated. The Central Electoral Commission said the opposition boycott cannot influence on the work of the electoral committees and the vacant positions in the committees remain unoccupied, IA Regnum reported.
