Aronian: great honor to win Alekhine Memorial

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian said he was happy to win Alexander Alekhine Memorial.

“It’s now every day you are invited to such beautiful places. I love Saint Petersburg. It’s a great honor for me to win the tournament, as Alekhine is my favorite chess player,” Aronian said.

“I can’t name a specific recipe for victory. I didn’t have a special training for the final match, I just wanted to face Maxim,” RIA Novosti quoted Aronian as saying.
