Polls for City Council close in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Polls for Yerevan City Council have closed in the Armenian capital at 8 pm local time, with 366 982 (44,95%) people having voted as of 5 pm.

6 political parties and 1 bloc are running for City Council: Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia, Armenian National Congress, Orinats Yerkir, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Mission and Barev Yerevan bloc.

The elections started at 8 am local time, with 816 475 entitled to vote; 6466 local and international observers were monitoring the polls.
