Armenia for Establishment of Constructive Relations between States of RegionMarch 6, 2006 - 16:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is for the creation of atmosphere of regional cooperation, formation of a security system and establishment of constructive relations between the states of the region, says the report titled "Directions of National Security Strategy of the Republic of Armenia" issued by Secretary at the National Security Council at the RA President, Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan. According to the Minister, this way a fair settlement of regional conflicts, first of all the Nagorno Karabakh problem, prevention of resumption of hostilities and opposition to the military-political blocs conflicting with Armenia's interests is possible. The report notes that some states try to isolate Armenia and force it out of regional programs. "Only via regional cooperation it is possible to oppose the challenges to international and regional security, achieve considerable economic, social and cultural progress and secure sustainable development," the RA Defense Minister's report says.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
