Armenia posts 13,3% foreign trade turnover increaseAugust 21, 2013 - 16:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s foreign trade turnover totaled $492,6 mln (AMD 202,2 bln) in July 2013 increasing by 13,3% compared with the same period in 2012, according to updated statistical data. Export amounted to $124,5 mln (AMD 51,1 bln) in July 2013, increasing by 5,7% against 2012 results. The monthly export fell by 10,2%. A 15,8% increase was recorded in import bringing it to $368,1 mln (AMD 151,1 bln,) the RA National Statistical Service reported. The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $1 539,1 mln (AMD 633,6 bln) in January-July 2013 compared with the same period in 2012.
