OSCE MG Working for Karabakh Conflict Soonest Settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - The delegation of top officials of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair states will arrive in Baku and Yerevan next week to discuss the prospects of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, said Acting Charge D'affaires of Russia in Azerbaijan Peter Burdykin. According to the diplomat, presently the OSCE Minsk Group is working for the soonest resolution of the problem. When commenting on the purpose of the visit, he remarked that "sometimes appearance of new people in the process can offer new positions and approaches." "I suppose progress is possible although the tasks are very complicated," Burdykin said.



According to sources within the Russian Foreign Ministry, the delegation will include Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin, French MFA Political Director Stanislas de Laboulaye and U.S. Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried will arrive in the region with the mediators to discuss the prospects of the conflict settlement with the Armenian and Azerbaijan leadership, reported Day.az.
