Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent an address to his French counterpart Jacques Chirac over the Bastille Day. The congratulatory address says, in part, "We appreciate highly France's activities as the OSCE Minsk Group and Your personal efforts targeted at the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict… Today the French-Azeri relations are developing dynamically. Our multisided contacts and fruitful cooperation feature these relations. I am convinced the my recent visit to your friendly country and the exchange of views will convey an impulse to the expansion of ties at all the levels, " reported Day.az.
