Artsakh athletes win 3 bronze medals at Kung Fu World ChampionshipsJuly 23, 2015 - 12:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 3 athletes from the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic - Vardges Manasyan (52 kg, above 18 age group), Hayk Khachyan (56 kg, 17-18 age group), and Hayk Gasparyan (56 kg, 15-16 age group) won three bronze medals at Kung Fu World Championship in Beijing, David Grigoryan, head coach of the Wushu Federation of Artsakh said. Athletes representing more than 80 countries took part in the championships. Those from Artsakh previously won Sanda Kung Fu championships in Armenia, Artsakhpress reports. Prior to the competition, Grigoryan said that Championship will help promote the international recognition of Artsakh.
