Azerbaijan Hopes for Hungarian Justice Indulgence?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Hungarian authorities can consider the issue of pardon or extradition of Ramil Safarov after completion of the trial. Azeri Government may address the Hungarian party, asking to extradite him and the Hungarian authorities may consider the appeal for pardon or extradition of Safarov, Hungarian Constitutional Court judge Androsh Brahjova stated in a conversation with journalists in Baku. In his words, the Hungarian court heard the case of Safarov as a NATO officer in compliance with agreements between Budapest and the NATO.

February 19, 2004 lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Armenia Gurgen Margaryan, sent to Budapest to take English courses within the NATO Partnership for Peace Program, was brutally hacked by Azeri officer Ramil Safarov, who took the same courses. Safarov's defense has appealed to upper judicial institutions of Hungary, reports Mediaforum.
