National Oncology Center gets new batch of modern medical equipment

PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS continues supporting V.A. Fanarjian National Center of Oncology by providing medical equipment to the clinic.

This year the clinic has been equipped with a professional endoscopic videosurgical integrated system with complete set of instruments (WOLF, Germany), hybrid (monopolar-bipolar) operating Princess Hysteroresectoscope with continuous irrigation, ASP-1800Y medical volumetric syringe system, ARI-800C patient monitor, KL11011A hospital bed with mattress, KL4141QB hospital bed with mattress.

“It is very important to support our talented doctors with the necessary tools, thus helping them provide the patients with complete medical care needed for fighting diseases. We need to join hands in this fight and make sure patients get the necessary treatment here in Armenia without the need of traveling abroad, which means high expenses and travelling difficulties that not all the patients can afford,” VivaCell-MTS General manager Ralph Yirikian said.

The National Center of Oncology provides medical assistance to patients from all over Armenia, performing more than 3200 surgeries, providing antineoplastic chemotherapy to 4500 and radiation treatment to 1500 patients annually. The new equipment now available in the center will make the treatment more effective.

Throughout 2010, VivaCell-MTS has allocated more than AMD 238 million to the acquisition of equipment for the National Center of Oncology, including AMD 60 million in 2016.
