According to the Ministry's press service, about 1,000 soldiers from the Russian Airborne Troops will join tactical, strategic,anti-terrorism and special exercises with units of foreign countries' armies next year, including those of Armenia, Nicaragua and Belarus. This year, Russian Airborne Troops have participated in 15 joint drills on Russian territory and abroad, also having conducted more than 40 visits and meetings with military representatives from The Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe, North Africa, South America and South-East Asia, the Ministry said.
