Russia strengthening positions as Armenia's major economic counteragentOctober 5, 2007 - 17:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Russian and Armenian Prime Ministers certified in Moscow that the trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Russia has approached the level peculiar for military-political relations, Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Nikolay Pavlov said. "Russia is strengthening positions as Armenia's major economic counteragent. The trade index is growing, serious programs of industrial cooperation are being developed," he said. "The commodity turnover between our states has increased over 70 per cent against the last year's index. Both sides are interested in further development of bilateral trade. The Prime Ministers agreed on delivery of Armenian building materials for construction of Olympic facilities in Sochi," he noted.
