Sept. 21 announced Armenian Independence Day in Tempe, U.S.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Consul General to Los Angeles, Armen Liloyan was in Arizona from Sept. 19 to Sept. 21 to meet with the Armenian community of the state, the RA MFA press office reported.



He also met with Hugh Hallman, the Mayor of Tempe, who said that September 21 was proclaimed the Day of Independence of Armenia.



Addressing the students of Arizona University, the Consul presented priorities of Armenia's foreign policy.



The possibility to establish direct trade relations between Armenia and Arizona was discussed during a meeting with members of the Armenian-American chamber of commerce.
