PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 52 to reach 39,102 on Monday, August 3 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The relatively small number of new infections is due to the fact that most laboratories don't work on Sundays.

167,095 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 29,861 people have recovered, 762 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 228 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
