Armenia: Face masks not required outdoors from June 1

PanARMENIAN.Net - Face coverings are no longer required outdoors in Armenia beginning from June 1, health authorities said on Wednesday, May 26.

Vaccinated people, meanwhile, can take their masks off in all settings, whether outdoors or indoors, from July 1, the Ministry of Health said.

Sputnik V, AstraZeneca and CoronaVac shots are currently being used in Armenia's vaccination program.

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 130 to reach 222,269 on Wednesday. So far, 211,957 people have recovered, 4411 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1079 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
