IRI: 71% of Armenians don't want the Covid vaccineMay 29, 2021 - 11:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 71% of Armenians wouldn't get vaccinated against Covid-19 if vaccines were available, according to a new nationwide poll conducted in Armenia by the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Center for Insights in Survey Research. Among reasons as to why respondents would not plan to get vaccinated are: "I am concerned about side effects" (37%), "I don't think that I need it" (25%), "I want to know more about how well they work" (15%), "I do not get vaccines in general" (13%), "vaccine of my choice is not available" (3%) and "other"/"Difficult to answer/Refused to answer" 4%/2%. The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 42 to reach 222,555 on Saturday, May 29 morning.
