UN chief: Vaccine inequality brings new Covid variants

PanARMENIAN.Net - UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Monday, October that new coronavirus variants continue to emerge as a result of inequitable distribution of Covid-19 vaccines globally.

"Vaccine inequality is allowing #COVID19 variants to develop & run wild, condemning the world to more deaths & prolonging an economic slowdown," Guterres said on Twitter.

"Without a coordinated, equitable approach, a reduction of cases in any one country will not be sustained over time."
