Armenian researchers will get to use EU scientific infrastructureNovember 4, 2021 - 18:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian researchers will get to use the scientific infrastructure of European countries, the EU to fund their research, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan told a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, November 4. The Government approved the proposal to sign the Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union on Armenia's Participation in the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Framework Programme. According to the Minister of Education and Science, the program envisages support for high-tech startups and small and medium enterprises. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that the state funding for science under the 2022 draft budget will increase by 83%, while funds allocated to scientific research will increase more than 2.5 times, amounting to AMD 6.7 billion.
