Ombudsman, ICRC rep. discuss repatriation of Armenian PoWs

PanARMENIAN.Net - Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan acting head of the ICRC's Armenia delegation Myriam El Kholi have discussed the repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war captured by Azerbaijan on November 16 and before that, Tatoyan said in a statement.

Citing the mandate of the ICRC, the Ombudsman did not provide more details from the phone call.

In clashes launched by Azerbaijan on November 16, the Armenian side has confirmed deaths and injuries, while 13 soldiers have been captured by Azerbaijan. Two combat positions too have gone under the control of Azeri forces, 24 Armenian troops have gone missing.
