Armenia's Simon Martirosyan wins bronze at World Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - Lifter Simon Martirosyan on Thursday, December 16 won bronze at the World Weightlifting Championships, currently underway in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Competing in the 109 kg weight category, Martirosyan raised a combined 237 kg above his head to snatch the medal.

Samvel Gasparyan (102 kg), also representing Armenia, won a small bronze medal on Wednesday.
