Government could bury unclaimed Karabakh victims "at some point"

PanARMENIAN.Net - Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan on Monday, March 14 spoke about cases where victims of the Second Karabakh War have been identified in both Armenia and abroad, but their families are not ready to bury them yet.

Avanesyan noted that "at some point" the government may need to bury them, Pastinfo reports.

"As it is quite a difficult process, the government does everything possible to give parents time to go through this painful process and make a decision," the Health Minister said.

"But on the other hand, we understand that at some point we are going to need to address this issue and bury them individually, not in a fraternal grave."

According to her, samples have been sent to the Netherlands, Russia, Georgia, Germany and other countries, and the results are completely the same as those obtained in Armenia.
