The Armenian Genocide resolution to be submitted to Israeli Knesset in May

PanARMENIAN.Net - "I have no comments on alteration of Israel official policy regarding Armenian Genocide recognition, being unaware of new Foreign Minister, Avigdor Liberman's position," Zeev Elkin , ruling Likud Israeli Party Leader told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

According to him, MPs will address this issue after parliamentary holidays. "Most probably, The Armenian Genocide resolution could be submitted to Knesset in May. "

When questioned about Liberman's statement on Israel refusal to comply with the agreement of Annapolis conference, Elkin responded that the FM only voiced the opinions of his voters. "Negotiations were necessary, yet unsuccessful: terror has strengthened and people's security is threatened. We have to find another way to resolve Israel-Palestinian conflict, " Elkin emphasized.
