Tottenham interested in signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan, reports say

PanARMENIAN.Net - Tottenham are one of three clubs interested in signing ex-Man Utd star Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer from Roma, according to reports.

The Armenia international has previously had spells in the Premier League with Manchester United and Arsenal. During his time at United, he worked with Jose Mourinho. Together they won the Europa League and EFL Cup.

Mkhitaryan has played 119 times for Roma since the start of the 2019/20 campaign. He has been a key player for Mourinho this term, playing 43 times across all competitions. He has grabbed five goals and nine assists.

The 33-year-old’s future is in doubt though as his contract is set to expire this summer, Football365 says.

Alfredo Pedulla (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Mourinho is keen to keep Mkhitaryan at Roma, but he must ‘beware of surprises’.

It is stated that Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Napoli all ‘like’ the midfielder, who has been offered a new two-year deal by Roma.
