Armenia reports 2124 new coronavirus cases, 7 deaths in past week

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 2124 to reach 434,398 between August 22 and 28, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 1788 more people recovered, while 7 patients died died from Covid-19 in the past week.

A total of 6131 tests have been performed in the reporting period, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 421,316 people have recovered, 8655 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1684 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
