Azerbaijanis among foreigners most accused of murder in Russia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Among foreigners in Russia, citizens of Azerbaijan are most often brought to criminal liability for murder, according to a report by the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Haqqin.az reports.

From 2021 to 2022, the number of murders in which charges were brought against foreigners increased by 52% (from 161 in 2021 to 246 in 2022).

Among the defendants in such cases, citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan are most often found, data shows.
