Armenia' President gifted 2 dolls in national costumes to collector

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 12 solemn ceremony of handing of Armenian national dolls to a well known collector of dolls Teresa Perenic De Beefato took place at the Embassy of Argentina to Armenia.

On January 9 Teresa Perenic De Beefato, Croat by origin, addressed a letter to RA president Serzh Sargsyan with request to complete a collection, created 20 years ago by her father Leposlav Perenic, with Armenian national dolls.

Ambassador of Croatia in Argentine Mira Martinek, ambassador of Armenia in Argentine Vladimir Karmishalyan, Teresa Perenic De Beefato and her relatives participated in the ceremony of handing of Armenian dolls at the Embassy of Argentina to Armenia.

"I was surprised by the quick reply of the president Sargsyan. I sent similar letters to presidents of different countries, including Croatia, but positive reply came only from Armenia yet, and I am deeply grateful for it," Teresa Perenic De Beefato said.
