Emma Poghosyan wins World Junior Weightlifting Championships gold

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian weightlifter Emma Poghosyan has won gold in the women’s 81kg event of the 2024 World Junior Weightlifting Championships in Leon, Spain.

Poghosyan won gold after lifting a total of 233kg (100kg snatch, 133kg clean and jerk) above her head and became the champion in her weight class.

Aleksandra Grigoryan and Anna Amroyan, also representing Armenia, had earlier won bronze medals.
