US CONGRESSMEN TO CONTROL PROCESS OF ADMINISTRATION GIVING AID TO AZERBAIJAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - The co-chairs of the US Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Joe Knollenberg (R-MI) have urged President George W. Bush to provide the legislators with the detailed description of the military aid that the administration intends to give to Azerbaijan. Stressing the importance of the policy directed towards preserving the military balance between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Congressmen expressed disturbance concerning Azeri President Aliyev's statements about the possibility of launching hostilities against Karabakh.
