Seyran Ohanyan: Armenia needs new scholars

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, when active reforms are being carried out in Armenia's armed forces, scientific and research components acquire special importance in military sphere, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said today during NSRI first session. "Servicemen did not have scientific titles in the past, and they didn't author research papers. The establishment of such council will enable us to prepare serious specialists in two spheres." Defense Minister noted. The Council's activities, he said, will enable young scholars to study international practice and contribute to the development of the Armenian statehood.
