Mkhitaryan may retire after current season

PanARMENIAN.Net - Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan may end his professional career after the current season, according to journalist Matteo Moretto, as reported by Euro-football.

Negotiations over a new contract have stalled, and the 37-year-old Armenian footballer’s current deal runs until June 30, 2026.

“Talks between the parties over a new contract have stopped. If Mkhitaryan fails to reach an agreement with Inter, he may consider ending his career,” Euro-football writes.

This season, Mkhitaryan has made 30 appearances across all competitions for the Milan-based club, scoring two goals and providing three assists.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined Inter from Roma in 2022.
