Azeri deputy criticizes Iranian President

PanARMENIAN.Net - "I think that is inappropriate to give advice to independent states on how they must live and build their domestic and foreign policy," Aydin Mirzazade , deputy of Milli Mejlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan said, commenting on the statement by the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

As Trend News previously reported with reference to the Iranian Fars agency, the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had strongly criticized the neighboring countries for their "cooperation with the Zionist regime". "We are sorry for those of our neighbors, who serve for Zionists, and provide means for Israel's hegemony over the world," the agency quotes the Iranian President.

"Azerbaijan is an independent state, which does not need anyone's advice. It build its policy on the basis of its national interests. Today, all nations of the world are friendly with Azerbaijan. Armenia is the only exception," Mirzazade said, Day.az reports.

"Since Azerbaijan does not interfere with internal affairs of other countries, it will not allow to interfere in its internal politics," Aydin Mirzazade concluded.
