Recognition of borders with Turkey doesn't mean Armenians will abandon their demands

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Armenia's step on mutual recognition of current Armenian-Turkish borders, based on international contracts, does not mean Armenians will abandon their demands towards Turkey," RA Republican Party representative Sukias Avetisyan said at today's news conference.

When questioned about the reasons RA is undertaking this step now, he responded that Armenia does not set preconditions, as primarily it was agreed to normalize relations without preconditions. "We'll reach no results by setting preconditions now," Avetisyan emphasized.
